Intensively working on the implementation of innovative methods of visualization of medical data based on Mixed Reality technologies and 3D space mapping.

2013, a research work as part of an internship at the Thoraxcenter Heart Disease Center, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The results of research carried out at Thoraxcenter were a Mortara scholarship (in the USA, founded by Computing in Cardiology Organization) awarded for innovative solutions in the

field of cardiological patient monitoring.

2014, an internship at the American Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York.

2015, an internship Top500 Innovators – the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom in the field of cooperation with the economy, management of scientific research and commercialization of their results, a program implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Works carried out as part of the scientific activities at the UJCM, in cooperation with scientific units:

– Institute of Cardiology UJCM, Dariusz Dudek – visualization of pathological structures of the heart, planning of procedures, intraoperative space mapping, using 3D medical data visualization methods and mixed reality, mapping the space of the room and the operating field.

– Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), Interactive Commons, Cleveland Clinic, USA, – HoloAnatomy Laboratory – cooperation in the process of implementing to education and in the area of clinical sciences the possibilities of augmented reality technology using HoloLens goggles (mixed reality goggles).

– Thoraxcenter, Erasmus MC, The Netherlands, Nico Bruining, cardiovascular visualization, 3D imaging of vessels and heart, implementation of new augmented reality technologies in 3D imaging.

Virtual/Augmented Reality, Medical informatics, Telemedicine. Research on the use of psychophysiological method (occulography, saccadometry, GSR, EEG) in performance

evaluation of cognitive processes, learning and diagnosis of behavioral disorders.

The manager and participant in several national and international projects, among others:

COST Action B27: Electric Neuronal Oscillations and Cognition (ENOC).

COST Action BM0601: Advanced Methods for the Estimate of Human Brain Activity and Connectivity (NeuroMath).

COST Action BM0605: Consciousness: A Transdisciplinary, Integrated Approach.

Author of several dozen scientific articles and over a hundred conference presentations. Promoter of several MA theses defended at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

He received of the Polish Minister’s of Science and Higher Education award, and several awards at conferences for the best posters.

Dr. Ivana Dubovska graduated in 2005 at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the
Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
From 2007 to 2010 she specialized in Orthodontics at the Institute of Dentistry and Oral Sciences,
Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Her dissertation thesis: Upper canines impaction – factors influencing treatment duration.
She received her PhD in Orthodontics at the same university in 2015 with her thesis ‘Diagnosis of
canine impaction. 3D versus 2D imaging methods’.
Dr. Ivana Dubovska works since 2006 at the Orthodontic Department of Dentistry and Oral
Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Since 2008-2020 she also worked at the Dental Emergy in Olomouc.
Since May 2010 she works in the private practice 3D Ortodoncia in Trnava (Slovak republic).
She is a member of the Czech and Slovak Orthodontic Society and a honorary member of the
Hungarian Orthodontic Society, member of European Aligner society, member of European Orthodontic society.
Her main reserch interests are impacted canines, impacted incisors, lateral incisors agenesis, interdisciplinary treatment, TAD’s, finishing, …
She is author of 35 publications, 48 congress lectures and 27 day workshops in Slovak and Czech language and 14 congress lectures, 3 workshops and 20 posters in English.
