A new dimension of education with HoloLens 2

Jagiellonian University – Collegium Medicum (UJ CM) is part of the Jagiellonian University, one of the oldest academic institutions in Europe. Continuing the university’s centuries-old tradition, the university implements the latest technologies to improve the training of highly specialised medical staff. An example of such measures was the purchase of a set of Microsoft HoloLens 2 mixed reality glasses for use in teaching. Thanks to Microsoft’s partner solution, apoQlar, which combines mixed reality with holomedicine, students learn about modern medical imaging and 3D image processing technologies. In this way, they learn to use the tools they will soon be working with on a daily basis.
