Digital Medicine & Robotics in Cardiovascular Disease

January 13, 2023, A seminar meeting was held at Sapienza University di Roma. It was participated by a delegation from the Center for Digital Medicine and Robotics of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, composed of:

• Dariusz Dudek MD, PhD, FESC – Director of the Center for Digital Medicine and Robotics

• Klaudia Proniewska PhD, ENG— Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Medicine and Robotics, Department of Bioinformatics and Telemedicine

• Julianna Dąbrowa – chairwoman of the Scientific Circle for Digital Medicine and Robotics

The representative of the Roman side was Professor Emanuele Barbato – President of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions.

The CMCR UJ CM team presented the solutions developed in the field of advanced medical imaging, medical data processing, and the latest educational solutions implemented at the Jagiellonian University Medical College as part of the project under the acronym MRAME (Erasmus+) – Mixed Reality supporting Advanced Medical Education – New method of teaching medical skills. The project manager is Klaudia Proniewska PhD, ENG.

The meeting will result in interdisciplinary cooperation with Sapienza University di Roma in the field of medical education and training models for students, clinicians, and surgical operators. The goal is to increase efficiency, shorten the time and optimize the solutions developed so far.
